China Xiamen Regulates Tourism

To speed up the Xiamen "intelligent tourism" construction, and further optimize the tourism market, regulate the business activities of tourism enterprises to effectively protect the travel consumer and the legitimate rights and interests of tour operators, recently, Xiamen Tourism Bureau issued a formal notice, 8 this year January, the city's travel agencies to use a unified "honest and quality tourism service management system" through the system to create an electronic trip to appoint one for tour operators and travel consumers with food, housing, transportation, travel, shopping, entertainment and other areas accurately information, and online authentication for the majority of visitors, inquiries, complaints and suggestions of the green channel, in order to ensure consistency of information the contracting parties, authenticity.

"Honest and quality tourism service management system" by the tourism administration, tourism quality supervision departments, travel agencies, tour guides, tourists, scenic and other six modules, with the statistical analysis, supervision and management, business management, visitors examine the four functions. The system can enter into contracts, scheduling, service procedures, evaluation of the implementation process monitoring visitors to the system and management to regulate the tourism reception behavior, improve quality of tourism services, and create a fair, orderly, honest and trustworthy environment for the development of tourism. The city in October 2009 trial integrity tourism management system, as of June 30 this year, the city's total of 84 travel agencies, 34,500 teams use the system for team travel and tour operations delegated administration. System has been tried by the tourism quality supervision departments and most widely recognized travel agency.

For the full implementation of the "honest and quality tourism service management system", the Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Tourism requirements: (a) the tour guide who perform tasks, must carry a single electronic version of the travel itinerary; (b) appoint a single travel itinerary using a unified and standard as a tourist annex to the contract stamped with the contract after the delivery of Chapter tourists, while making travel within the enterprise system and the integrity of the system interface; (c) Xiamen Tourism Quality Supervision shall appoint one of the use of electronic trip inspection supervision; (d) 4A-level scenic spots above can be used to verify the e-travel single bar code to verify the authenticity of the travel team; (e) the system generated data will be the tourism administration departments of all reward travel, an important basis for credit rating.
